Charging Textbooks to Your Student Account

Student Charging

Student Charging is a process of adding the cost of textbooks and required supplies to your account (in addition to tuition and fees). Eligible students can charge campus store purchases to their student accounts on specific dates each semester. For this semester's book charging dates, please see the Campus Store's Important Dates.

Requirements
  1. You must be registered for the term for which you are purchasing books, AND
  2. The total financial aid you will be receiving at your registered credit level exceeds your tuition and fees.
  3. Your 8-number student ID # (Tech ID, example 1543879) is needed at checkout to charge textbooks to your student account.
How it Works
  • All charges at the Campus Store and our website will be reflected on your student account in eServices.
  • If excess financial aid is available, your charges will be deducted from your disbursement.
  • If financial aid is not available, you will be responsible to check your eServices account and make payment arrangements.
  • Campus Store purchases are subject to Pine Technical and Community College dates and deadlines for payment.
  • Some academic and/or financial aid holds will prevent you from being eligible to charge books to your student account. Contact the Financial Aid Office with questions about your eligibility.
Student Charging at the Campus Store

To use your financial aid funds at the Campus Store, students will need to present a picture ID (PTCC ID or Driver's License) at the time of purchase. A student ID# (Tech ID) is required to access the funds.

Student Charging for Online Orders

To use your financial aid funds for purchases on the Campus Store's website, select Student Charging as your payment type and enter your 8-digit student ID# (Tech ID) in the account number field at checkout.
