Pine Technical and Community College (PTCC) textbooks will be housed at the Minnesota Textbook Center, a warehouse facility located on the campus of Minneapolis College. The center processes online textbook orders for several colleges across the Minnesota State system.
By using a shared service format for textbook
sales, PTCC can continue to aggressively attack
textbook affordability issues, while maintaining
a sustainable Campus Store.
Yes, if you are choosing to purchase from the
PTCC Campus Store. All textbook purchases and
rentals are processed online.
Course kits and uniforms will be available for
purchase in the Campus Store. Uniforms are
available for nursing, and shirts for EMS and
automotive; and aprons for GTSP and
Manufacturing.
Students can order their textbooks on the PTCC
Campus Store website, https://campusstore.
pine.edu/home. Procedures for online
ordering will not change from current methods.
Students still are required to create an account
separate from their school account to place
orders. Instructional videos are available online,
as are pamphlets in the Campus Store.
Students who have a 24-25 FAFSA on file
can charge up to $1,200 to their student
account in the Campus Store.
After tuition and fees are paid your
remaining financial aid or scholarship will
apply towards your textbook charges. You
will have an unpaid balance on your student
account for any remaining charges. Paper
invoices are not sent, per Board Procedure

It typically takes 1-2 business days for an online
order to be processed. However, during busy
times (like the beginning of each semester),
orders can take longer to fill. Please plan ahead
and order early.
Returns can be shipped to the Textbook Center
prior to the term’s refund deadline at the student’s cost and a refund will be issued. Return
instructions will be included with every order. All
textbooks must be in their original condition and
accompanied by a receipt when returned.
Orders can be canceled by sending an email to
[email protected]. The email
must include your name, Student ID (Tech ID),
order number, and the reason for the
cancellation.
Some common reasons for cancellation are:
- Your credit card was declined
- Financial aid funds were not available during the charging period
- Your order was a PO Box
- Financial aid has yet to come through
If you feel your order has been cancelled in
error, please contact Textbook Center
immediately, [email protected].
If your financial aid is not available by the
financial aid charging deadline, you may use a
credit card to pay for your textbooks online.

PTCC Library's reserve collection for use in the
library. For access codes, see your instructor.
Sometimes you can obtain temporary, limited

your books are not available in the requested
condition. If you select "used preferred" and a

automatically be substituted, and vice versa.
The dollar amount of your order WILL change if
substitutions are made.
